How HotInboundCalls works
Last updated
A consumer sees one of our ads on TV, connected TV, Facebook or Google, picks up the phone and dials. The call is routed live to your phone, only in states you are licensed in and only during the hours you set. You have 90 seconds to qualify an inbound caller before the call becomes billable.
What happens on each call?
- The ad runs. TV, connected TV (streaming), Facebook and Google ads. The ad tells the viewer what coverage is about and roughly what it costs, about a dollar to three dollars a day and up for final expense.
- The consumer dials. They start the call. You are not cold-calling anyone.
- We route it. The call goes through our call system and is matched to an agent licensed in the caller's state who is taking calls at that hour.
- Your phone rings. You talk to a live person. If they are not a fit, hang up before 90 seconds and you are not charged.
- Billing. Billable calls are deducted from your prepaid credits. Hang up on an unqualified caller before the timer and you aren't charged.
What do I need to start?
An active insurance license in the states you want calls from, a phone you will answer during the hours you set, and a funded balance. Starter orders run from 5–10 calls, prepaid per call, and you don't sign a contract. Tell us your states on a 15-minute call and we tell you which are open right now; open states change with capacity.
Which call types can I choose?
| Call type | Billable after | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound | 90 seconds | Consumer sees an ad and dials |
| Live transfer | 2 minutes | Passed through a call center first |
| Elite live transfer | 3 minutes | Call center, longer qualify window |
| CTV inbound | Set in your written terms | Connected-TV (streaming) ad, consumer dials |
An inbound call comes straight from the consumer. A live transfer comes through a call center first and is handed to you on the line. See inbound call vs live transfer.
Which verticals do you cover?
Final expense today. ACA and Medicare call lines are new for the 2026–2027 enrollment season; read ACA calls for the 2027 open enrollment and Medicare calls during AEP.
